Most likely the best lineman in the NFL suffered a season ending ankle injury in the Baltimore Raven’s 24-10 Victory over the Cleveland Browns today.

In the 2nd play of the 2nd Half Yanda went down with what first seemed like a sprain. He was later found to have a much worse injury. The Ravens replaced Yanda with former Arizona Cardinal Tony Bergstrom.

The loss of Yanda is the 4th Lineman out of play since the beginning of the season. The Ravens have had their share of victories but as Brian Baldinger has pointed out in the past, you can’t get far without the starting front 5.

Football must continue on for the Ravens but the constant injuries on the line leave the young season in limbo.
