Footballstories South Jersey Top 20 High School Football Teams
The Wildcats kept the top spot in the Top 20 with a convincing 56-8 win over the previously ranked Millville Thunderbolts.
St. Joe’s standout quarterback and defensive back Salaam Horne, who played just the first half, broke runs of 19 and 50 yards for a total of 77 yards on the ground on just five carries and completed 1-of-3 passes, with his only completion going 30-yards to Ricardo Quirindongo for a score. Horne, who also plays defensive back, scored a touchdown on an interception return. On of four interceptions by The Wildcats in the first half.
Shawnee kept its season perfect and moved up a spot to No. 2 with its 37-0 win over Washington Township.
Timber Creek is still undefeated but dropped a spot. The Chargers hung to defeat Winless Delsea 18-15.
