The Eagles showed grit and determination during Sunday’s 26-24 win over the San Diego Chargers at the StubHub Center.

Playing without Fletcher Cox and Darren Sproles, Ronald Darby and a limited Rodney McLeod, the Eagles were able to beat a desperate Chargers team looking for its first win.

LeGarrette Blount rushed 16 times for 136 yards including  a career best 68-yard run in the fourth quarter that helped put the game away.

Wentz was 17 of 31 for 242 yards and one touchdown pass. He was sacked once and did not throw an interception.

Phillip Rivers was 22 of 38 for 347 yards and two TD passes. He was sacked twice and did not throw an interception

From the 214 yards rushing as a team, Jake Elliott’s four consecutive field goals and the hoard of Eagles fans in attendance, this win was one for the books.
