South Jersey has to elite teams at this time: Timber Creek and St. Augustine. Both are undefeated and should cruise through their respective regular season schedules. The Chargers look like the favorites in the South Group IV playoffs while the Hermits will have to get past the monsters of the North to get where they want to go. This year they may finally have the horses to do it.

The Washington Redskins Media Relations staff issued a note release with lots of information about their well-earned win over the Philadelphia Eagles. There are about 41 notes in this release. And despite rushing for 230 yards (493 total) and holding a highly regarded defensive line that included Fletcher Cox to zero sacks, not one offensive lineman’s name made their release. Detroit (1-3) will host the Eagles (3-0) Sunday (1 p.m. FOX, WIP 94.1 FM) in a game seen as a revenge game for the Eagles on many levels.

Dr. Wu was enjoying a pleasant childhood growing up in Central New Jersey. He was and still is a serious basketball fan and even played hoops for four years at Marlboro High School in Marlboro, NJ.
