As you would expect, a team that goes undefeated, wins the 2018 Pennsylvania PIAA 6A State Championship and is ranked by every high school national ranking organization as one of the elite teams in the country, that program accomplished that with elite players.
St. Joseph’s Prep was head and shoulders the best team in Pennsylvania and dominated the Southeastern All-Footballstories all star team.

No. 1 Coatesville faces No. 20 Downingtown East in second round of District One 6A playoffs.
No. 2 St. Joe’s Prep faces unranked LaSalle (5-5) in the second round of District 12 6A playoffs. No. 4 Imhotep Charter takes on unranked John Bartram in 4A playoff action.
Another great second round District One 6A playoff game pits undefeated No. 5 North Penn (11-0) against No. 14 Neshaminy (8-3), The Knights edged Neshaminy 43-33 in overtime in the season opener for both teams.
No. 6 Garnet Valley (6-0) takes on Quakertown (9-2) in their second round playoff game.
No. 7 Downingtown West (10-1) will try to get by No. 9 Harry S. Truman (10-1) in their second round game. No. 8 Penn Wood (10-1) hosts DelVal rival Interboro (6-5) of their District One 5A matchup.
Rounding out the top is Pottsgrove (10-1). The Falcons take on Pottstown (6-5) in their second round District One 4A matchup.

No. 1 Williamstown takes on Washington Township Friday 7 PM at the Braves home field.
Haddonfield (No. 2 Footballstories, No. 1 SJ Group 2) hosts Sterling 7 PM.
No. 4, No. 2 Group 2 Camden hosts Collingswood Saturday 3 PM.
Group 3 No. 1 seed is No. 3 Burlington Township who hosts Oakcrest Friday night 7 PM.
Group 4 No. 2 seed Highland Regional hosts Ocean City Friday 7 PM.
Group 2 non public No. 1 seed St. Joe’s Hammonton hosts No. 8 Immaculate Conception Saturday 1 PM.
No. 1 Millville hosts Winslow Township Friday 7 PM. St. Augustine is matched up against Notre Dame Friday night 7 PM in a Group 4 non-public play-in game for the challenge of playing St. Joe’s Regional, ranked No. 2 in New Jersey and No. 114 in the country.

The PIAA playoffs are underway. Will anyone knock off the Prep? The top seed in District 1 AAAAAA is North Penn (10-0) despite being ranked No. 26 in the state by MaxPreps. Coatesville, the No. 2 seed is ranked No. 2 in the state and No. 63 nationally. In AAAA, Pottsgrove is the No. 1 seed. In AAA District 1-12 Conwell Egan is in the No. 1 spot.
District 11-12 Class 2A West Catholic is top seed.

West Deptford came out of what was a mediocre season putting on an offensive explosion and great defensive effort to shut out St. Joe’s Hammonton 51-0 last Saturday. The Eagles moved up to the No. 6 spot as teams play for playoff position.
Williamstown, Highland Regional, Haddonfield and Burlington Township remained unbeaten.

The Patriots are climbing the charts with and upward arrow…as the playoffs get closer, Penn Wood’s incredible team speed will make them a tough out for any opponent.
Speaking of playoffs. MaxPreps has Malvern Prep No. 3 in the State of Pennsylvania, Could they be the best? The Friars will not get a chance to prove it, at least at the AAAAA level as Malvern does not take part in the PIAA District or State playoffs.
A Malvern spokesperson today said it is unlikely the Inter-Academic League Malvern plays in will ever change that policy
