HEY PENN STATE FANS, YOU HAVE A LOT TO BE THANKFUL FOR

admin

By Tim Blasco

I have noticed a lot of Penn State fans in the misstate with one of two attitudes on their minds. Some are eternal optimists, one fan went to great lengths to show me before the Michigan loss how Penn State could possibly make the National Championship in the next two games. Others are not so cheery. One fan told me tonight that between the Eagles and the Nittany Lions he just hopes its a White Christmas. I sat back and just sort of chuckled. Does anybody truly remember four years ago?

Postgame James Franklin Quotes
Penn State – Illinois

Opening Statement
Like always, I want to thank everybody for coming out. I couldn’t have asked for a better day in terms of weather and atmosphere. We started out the year with a bunch of bad weather games so it was great this time of the year to have that type of weather. Good win. Obviously, good win. We’re getting better – staying positive works. We’re getting better so I’ve been pleased with that.

LIONS AND PANTHERS AND, OWLS?

What the Pittsburgh Panther’s Coach is really saying

On Monday Pittsburgh Panther’s Head Coach Pat Narduzzi referenced his play calling abilities and Penn State’s lack in that department by saying: “You could have a talented quarterback with a bad play-caller and make him look bad,” Narduzzi said. “You see that around the country, some closer than others.”

Opening Statement
Thank you guys for being here. Some notes from the previous game, obviously 1-0, 5-1 overall. Only 28 teams in the country with five wins or better, 2-0 in the league, 5-0 at home – first time since 2008, so some pretty cool things there.
