October 24, 2015
Opening Statement from Coach Franklin:
“First of all I really appreciate everybody being here. Most importantly, what I just talked to the team about was that we were resilient tonight. There was adversity that we faced. There were highs and lows. There were big plays and plays that we have to clean up.

If the Eagles win in Carolina they could spark a run like 2013, Chip Kelly’s first year. Lose and they have to think about a 3-4 record for two weeks and a road date against the Dallas Cowboys.

On May 30 2015 I saw something that is a very rare thing in Indoor/Arena Football. I watched a game get called because it was literally raining indoors. A York Capitals kicker literally kicked the sprinkler head off of the fire suppression system and the game was over.

What the Pittsburgh Panther’s Coach is really saying
On Monday Pittsburgh Panther’s Head Coach Pat Narduzzi referenced his play calling abilities and Penn State’s lack in that department by saying: “You could have a talented quarterback with a bad play-caller and make him look bad,” Narduzzi said. “You see that around the country, some closer than others.”

The Eagles-Giants Monday Night Football matchup may have seemed somewhat patriotic if you think about it…there were flags everywhere but they were all yellow.
The teams combined for 21 penalties for 164 yards. In the end though, the Eagles mistakes – and there were many – didn’t impact the game nearly much as the 12 fouls called on Big Blue as the Birds marched into first place with a 27-7 win over their turnpike rivals and took a slim lead in the mediocre NFC East.
