BALDY: THE PLAY OF BRANDON GRAHAM SHOULD GIVE EAGLES FANS HOPE

Brian Baldinger

The Philadelphia Eagles are in the midst of a five-game losing streak captivated by the low point of their season… losing at Cincinnati by the score of 32-14. It wasn’t as close as the score indicated. At one point they looked up at the scoreboard in Paul Brown Stadium in the 3rd quarter and the score read 29-0. Ouch!

WILL RIVALRIES, PLAYERS, PASSION BRING LENNOX BACK FOR SEASON NO. 25?

Al Thompson

High School football rivalry games bring out emotions that run the gamut of emotions.
Win, and you are walking on air for weeks. Lose and the feeling reach deep into your gut.
Lose on a blocked punt with time running out in the fourth quarter and the defeat burns through the heart even deeper.
That’s what happened to Interboro on Thanksgiving Day when the Bucs dropped a heart-breaking decision to crosstown adversary Ridley 29-22.

WASHINGTON EFFECTIVELY ENDS EAGLES SEASON WITH 27-22 WIN AT THE LINC

Al Thompson

The Eagles 2016 season, as far as making the playoffs, has been decided. It’s over.
That happened when the Birds (5-8) dropped a hard-fought decision to the Washington Redskins (7-5-1), 27-22, at Lincoln Financial Field on a cold but clear late fall day in South Philadelphia.
Darren Sproles had 27 yards on five carries. The two-time Pro Bowl special teams player had to leave the game after Deshazor Everett, a second-year safety from Texas A&M, plowed into Sproles as he prepared to field a punt at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
