Giants receiver Brandon Marshall talks about his health and the start of the season, his first with the Giants.
“Yeah. I’ll be out there. I feel good other than that hit I had in Cleveland, the body feels amazing. This is probably the only camp that I’ve had where I really didn’t have anything. So, that’s kind of encouraging being 33 and trying to be aware of where I’m at. My body – I try to keep track and try to be mindful of that so I know how to treat it, but I feel amazing.”

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – One of the most memorable plays from the Giants’ preseason game in Cleveland Monday night was an incomplete pass. The play stood out not because of who passed the ball, or who it was thrown to, but who defended it. Friend was deemed too short for major college football coming out of Mechanicsburg (PA) High School in 2011 where he was a two-time first team All-State lineman. But he was generously listed at 6-foot-2 and no D-1 schools came calling except Temple.
Friend proved the big schools wrong by becoming a four-year starter for the Owls and the face of head coach Matt Rhule’s program turnaround from doormat to national relevance.
Friend is hoping to find a home in Pittsburgh with the Steelers and prove all the teams that passed on him were wrong.
