PHILADELPHIA- The Philadelphia Soul have been fortunate to be coached by some top-level talent over the past ten seasons. One coach, however, has brought home an ArenaBowl championship. Bret Munsey coached the Soul from 2006-08 and was responsible for coaching the 2008 team that defeated the San Jose SaberCats in ArenaBowl XXII. Munsey is now playing a critical role in a 2016 NFL Playoffs, as his team prepares for another World Championship.

The Eagles go into their game this Sunday against Miami after turning-point type win over Dallas. The biggest key will be resisting a let down. The game is Sunday, November 15, 1:00 PM on CBS at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

It’s that time of year. Summer is over; fall is in the air and Oh yeah… It’s Football Season!!
Here we go people. Fire up the grill, drag out the coolers and grab your favorite chips, dips and wings.
I’m just not talking on the home front either. It’s time to get up, load up and get out to a game.

The Arena Football League today announced the 2015 Offensive Lineman of the Year award to Soul C Shannon Breen. Breen (6’5, 310, West Virginia Wesleyan) was also awarded First Team All-Arena for his impressive season with the Soul.

The Philadelphia Soul (16-4) attempted to tie up the game in the last two seconds with Dan Raudabaugh’s 14-yard pass into the end zone, but was intercepted by Jacksonville (12-8) leaving the final score 61-56 in front of 9,378 fans on the Rothman Field at the Wells Fargo Center on Sunday night. The Jacksonville Sharks were awarded 2015 American Conference Champions, and will proceed to face the San Jose SaberCats in ArenaBowl XXVIII.

Philadelphia (16-3) advance to the American Conference Championship with a 47-35 victory over the Gladiators (8-11) in front of 8,424 fans on the Rothman Field at the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday night.

Over the next few weeks the Soul (14-3) will be looking to land a spot in the ArenaBowl for the third time in the last four years.
Getting there would be great, hosting it ideal.
The Soul’s chances to host this year’s ArenaBowl actually got a little better after last weekend when the San Jose SaberCats knocked off the Arizona Rattlers.
