The Back-to-Back American Conference Champion Philadelphia Soul will hold an open player tryout on Saturday, November 23 at the Philadelphia Eagles’ NovaCare Complex located at One NovaCare Way, Philadelphia. For the first time in Arena Football League history, the ArenaBowl championship game will feature the same two teams from the year before. The defending champion Arizona Rattlers (15-3) will take on their ArenaBowl XXV adversaries, the Philadelphia Soul (12-6) again in front of a national audience on the CBS Television Network in ArenaBowl XXVI on Saturday, August 17. The Philadelphia Soul will play the Jacksonville Sharks in the American Conference Championship to advance to ArenaBowl XXXVI. The game is between the top two seeds of the conference. Kickoff is set for Saturday, Aug. 10 at 7 p.m. ET in Jacksonville. The two teams faced off in last season’s American Conference Championship when the Soul won, 89-34. The Philadelphia Soul announce teen-rock band, Gifford’s Lane, will open up for Quiet Riot at their concert on July 6 following the Philadelphia Soul game at the Wells Fargo Center. Gifford’s Lane will also appear on the Preston and Steve Show tomorrow morning. Quiet Riot will hold a 45-minute concert following the Soul game against the Chicago Rush on Saturday, July 6 at 7 p.m. The concert will be the headlining act for the Philadelphia Soul’s Classic Rock Night.
