The Giants coughed up the ball in key situations all afternoon against the Arizona Cardinals, who were playing without starting quarterback Carson Palmer.
The result was a 25-14 loss that left Big Blue with a 0-2 record to start the season.

The West Chester Golden Rams jumped all over Mercyhurst University Saturday afternoon at John A. Farrell Stadium by scoring 21 points in the first 10 minutes of the game. Golden Rams quarterback Sean McCartney threw for three touchdowns and ran another in the 38-14 win. The defense got into the act as well when strong safety Drew Formica returned an interception 39 yards for a score. As a unit, the defense held the Lakers (0-2) to just 255 yards of total offense including only 43 yards on the ground.

It’s only week 3 of the college football season but already some teams have bye weeks and, of course, the Ivy League teams have yet to start. So while Penn and Princeton wait one more week to hit somebody in a different colored jersey, Temple (1-1), Villanova (1-1) and Delaware Valley (1-0) will all enjoy the weekend off.

Five days before their season opener, the Giants today added versatility and experience to their offensive line by signing 10-year veteran Adam Snyder.
The 6-6, 325-pound Snyder played eight of his first nine seasons for the San Francisco 49ers. He has started games at all five offensive line positions.
