EAGLES HEAD COACH CHIP KELLY POST GAME PRESS CONFERENCE

admin

Q. After that, can you tell us that the players believe in what you’re trying to do?
CHIP KELLY: I don’t think anybody played well today, and I don’t think we’re talking about beliefs. We just didn’t play well as a football team in any facet of the game and there’s no excuse for that.

MARTIN AND BUCS CRUSH EAGLES AT THE LINC

Al Thompson

Everyone across the Delaware Valley predicted a 4-0 November for the Birds and Philadelphia would be 7-4 heading into Foxboro on December 6 and a date with the New England Patriots.
Yesterday’s 45-17 loss to the guaranteed the Eagles (4-6) won’t have even a winning record going into that game.
The Buccaneers (5-5) converted 10 of their first 13 third-down plays…the Eagles simply could not get off the field all afternoon. Even after what appeared to be a good start.

EAGLES BEAT GIANTS IN PENALTY FESTIVAL, EVEN RECORD AT 3-3

Al Thompson

The Eagles-Giants Monday Night Football matchup may have seemed somewhat patriotic if you think about it…there were flags everywhere but they were all yellow.
The teams combined for 21 penalties for 164 yards. In the end though, the Eagles mistakes – and there were many – didn’t impact the game nearly much as the 12 fouls called on Big Blue as the Birds marched into first place with a 27-7 win over their turnpike rivals and took a slim lead in the mediocre NFC East.
