NO. 1 WOOD, NO. 4 LASALLE KEEP PACE FOR OCTOBER 3 SHOWDOWN

Top Ranked Archbishop Wood and fourth-ranked LaSalle will face off in a non-league matchup Friday night (7 p.m.) at William Tennent High School in Warminster. It is the first time the Vikings and Explorers have face each other on a football field since 1998.

Wood is led my 6-5, 280-pound Ryan Bates (Penn State)  and the rest of the Vikings huge offensive line. They block for running back Jarrett McClenton, who has 739 yards on 70 carries and 10 touchdowns.

LaSalle is led by quarterback Kyle Shurmur who has thrown 160 passes, connecting 103 times including 17 touchdowns.
