Suiting Warriors Foundation 2nd Annual Ropes for Hopes Fundraiser

Fun-Filled Tree Top Adventure Slated for September 27, 2013

(September 1, 2014 – Wilmington, DE) The Suiting Warriors Foundation’s (SWF) 2nd Annual “Ropes for Hopes” event will be held at Go Ape in Lums Pond on Saturday, September 27, 2014. Participants will make their way through a fun-filled, action-packed treetop adventure course to raise money for the Suiting Warriors Foundation, a nonprofit veterans’ support organization.

SWF supports and empowers veterans transitioning into civilian life by providing them with professional attire essential for competing in today’s job market. SWF accepts suit donations and connects job-seeking veterans with resources.

The Ropes for Hopes benefit has activities for everyone of all ages. To Zip-line register online or join the picnic and enjoy games for a donation at the door. There is special pricing for students/military/veterans. The course features five zip-lines and 40 obstacles throughout the 200-acre Lums Pond terrain. Start times will be staggered every half hour starting at 10:00 a.m.- 12:00pm. Zip-Line check-in begins at 9 a.m., and Picnic Zone Activities begin at 11:00am – 3pm.
