Philadelphia Continues to Push for a Championship
PHILADELPHIA (July 28, 2014) – The Back-to-Back American Conference Champion Philadelphia Soul (9-9) will attempt to make their third consecutive trip to the ArenaBowl when they kick off the 2014 Playoffs this Saturday, August 2 at the Quicken Loans Arena against the Cleveland Gladiators (17-1) at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on the CBS Sports Network.
“The playoffs give each team the chance to start with a clean slate,” said head coach Clint Dolezel. “It’s now a three-game season. The regular season is over. Now we need to get focused with a ‘do-or-die’ mentality and win the championship.”
Fans will have the opportunity to travel to Cleveland to watch the Soul take on the Gladiators on Saturday August 2, 2014. The cost of $125 will cover a roundtrip bus ride to Cleveland as well as a ticket for the game. The bus departs from The Philadelphia Soul practice facility (333 Preston Ave, Voorhees, NJ) at 6:45 a.m. on Saturday. The bus will depart from Cleveland coming back to Philadelphia on the morning of Sunday, August 3.
