TIMBER CREEK, ST. AUGUSTINE GET OUT OF GATE IN DOMINATING STYLE

Timber Creek (2-0) and St. Augustine (3-0) started their respective season show why they are elite.

The Chargers started with putting 54 points on the board against four-time defending NJSIAA Group 3 South champion Delsea. The final was 54-28. Sal Marchese and his Crusaders are off to an 0-2 start but look for a big rebound – Delsea is never out of it.

St. Augustine appears to be on a mission. No more cupcakes to open the season. The Hermits crushed Malvern Prep, a highly respected Southeastern PA program, 47-30 then followed that result with an equally impressive 48-10 win over area powerhouse Williamstown.
