The Philadelphia Soul Become First Arena Team To Partner With YCP
 

PHILADELPHIA (June 22, 2015)

The Philadelphia Soul announce a partnership with the You Can Play mission, which insures the safety and inclusion of all individuals in sports – including LGBT athletes, coaches and fans.  This partnership will include a You Can Play theme night on Friday, June 26 as the Soul host the Tampa Bay Storm at 7:30 p.m.  The Soul are the first professional Philadelphia sports team to partner with YCP to host this type of event.
 
“The Philadelphia Soul have become a leader in the Arena Football League in working for diversity and inclusion and You Can Play is extremely proud to be associated with this team,” said Glenn Witman, co-founder of You Can Play and Philadelphia native. “The Soul’s athletes, staff, coaches and fans are sending an important message that talent and skill matter in sports, not sexual orientation.”
