FINAL SUPER 30 HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAMS FOR 2013.

The Jaguars finished the season 10-0 and are the 2013 Central League Champions.

No. 1 Garnet Valley takes on Council Rock South in the District 1 playoff opener this weekend. Our No. 4 Pennsbury takes on Upper Darby, Our No. 5 Bayard Rustin plays Perkiomen Valley, No. 11 Coatesville will try to rebound from its loss to Downingtown West against North Penn and Neshaminy will try to bounce back from its lone defeat to Pennsbury when it takes on No. 24 Unionville. No. 22 Downingtown West will want to prove they are for real by beating Spring-Ford.

District 12 AAAA will likely end with a rematch of St. Joe’s Prep and LaSalle.

Imhotep Charter should cruise to the AA District 12 title and Wood will be tough to beat in AAA District 12.

In South Jersey, it is the last week of the regular season. Eastern suffered its first loss of 2013 to Cherokee but is No. 6 overall and No. 1 for Jersey schools. The Vikings are led by quarterback Tom Flacco and are a favorite to win the Group V South Jersey Title.

Williamstown’s showdown against Kingsway this week has lost a little luster with both teams losing twice this season. But it is still one of the top games this weekend.

And will Middletown DE ever lose again?

NP has now won 7 straight. Maybe I was wrong about them. Talk about coming on strong. Neshaminy and Pennsbury are easily two of the best teams in Southeastern PA.
