FINAL SUPER 30 HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAMS FOR 2013.

Imhotep Charter (11-2) remains at the Top spot in the Footballstories Top 30 High School football teams in the Tri State area after crushing Catasauqua in the AA quarterfinals. Earlier this season the Panthers knocked off AAAA Power LaSalle 40-28 in convincing fashion showing they were a force at any level. If Coach Crosby’s team wins the State AA title, it will no doubt start discussion why they are in AA. The Panthers play Berks Catholic (14-0) in the state semifinals this Saturday Governor Mifflin in Shillington (3 p.m.).

St. Joe’s Prep moved up to No. 5 after knocking off Parkland in the state quarterfinals.
Quarterback Chris Martin threw two TD passes in his return against Trojans. The Hawks will take on No. 3 Neshaminy in the PIAA AAAA State semifinals this Saturday at Northeast High School (1 p.m.).
The Redskins (13-1) looked like the definition of a complete team in pounding North Penn 42-7 in the quarters. Redskins running back D’Andre Pollard – a junior – is staking a claim for Footballstories Player of the Year after his four-touchdown, 230-yard rushing performance against North Penn.
In AAA PIAA playoff action No.6 Archbishop Wood (11-2) takes on powerhouse Berwick (14-0) in the state semifinals at Crum Stadiumn in Allentown Friday night 7 p.m.

In South Jersey, Cherokee (10-1) has that championship look after demolishing Washington Township 51-0 in Group V playoff action and skied to No. 2. The Chiefs – who pounded Seneca on their Thanksgiving game – also knocked off Jackson Memorial 35-14 to advance to championship game and take on Eastern, No. 4 overall. The Vikings defeated Atlantic City and Millville to advance to
the Group V championship game December 6 at Rowan University (7 p.m.). Eastern is led by quarterback Tom Flacco and his corps of dependable receivers and the overall play of do-everything Mike Montemurro (No. 74 in your program).
In Group IV play No. 9 Timber Creek (10-1) takes on No. 23 Shawnee (8-3) for the state title on December 6 at Rowan UNiversity at 7:30 p.m.
Group III features Delsea (9-2) against Barnegat (10-1) at Rowan University December 7 at 4 p.m.
Holy Spirit (11-0) plays DePaul (Wayne, NJ) for the Group ll non-public title at Rowan Univesity December 8 at 1 p.m.
Penns Grove (8-2) will play Glassboro (6-5) for the Group l title December 7 at Rowan University 10:00 a.m.
In the Group II title game Haddonfield (9-2) takes on undefeated Woodstown (11-0) on December 7 at 1:00 p.m. at Rowan.
St. Joseph’s (Hammonton) (10-1) will play St. Mary (Rutherford) for the non-public group I title December 7 at Rowan (Time TBD).

In Delaware, Congratulations are in order for No. 14 Salesianum (11-1) after the Sallies defeated Middletown (10-2) 23-7 and winning the Delaware Division l State title on November 30 at Delaware Stadium. St. George’s Tech (11-2) lost to Hodgson Vo-Tech (11-3) 38-0 also on November 30 to win the Delaware Division II Championship also at Delaware Stadium.
