Philadelphia Eagles and WR Torrey Smith Agree To Terms on Three-Year Contract

The Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to terms on a three-year contract with WR Torrey Smith.

Originally a second-round draft pick of the Baltimore Ravens in 2011, Smith (6-0, 205) spent the last two seasons with the San Francisco 49ers. In his six-year NFL career, he has totaled 266 catches for 4,521 yards (17.0 avg.) and 37 touchdowns. Additionally, Smith has recorded 20 receptions for 414 yards and four touchdowns in eight career postseason appearances, and won a Super Bowl with the Ravens in 2013.

During his time in Baltimore, Smith caught 30 regular-season TDs, marking the second-highest total in franchise history. In 2015, his 20.1 yards-per-reception average led all NFL players with at least 30 catches.

Smith has also made a significant impact off the field through his Torrey Smith Family Fund, which provides support for at-risk youth who face physical, educational and financial challenges. Smith has twice been named his team’s NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year (Baltimore, 2014; San Francisco, 2016).

Prior to being drafted by the Ravens, Smith attended the University of Maryland, where he appeared in 38 games and hauled in 152 catches for 2,215 yards and 19 touchdowns. Smith also served as the Terrapins primary kick returner, totaling 2,983 yards and three touchdowns on 123 career returns.

Philadelphia Eagles and G Chance Warmack Agree To Terms on One-Year Contract

The Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with G Chance Warmack.

Originally a first-round draft pick of the Tennessee Titans in 2013 (10th overall), the 6-2, 323-pound Warmack has made 48 career starts at right guard during his first four NFL seasons.

Warmack was a three-time national champion at the University of Alabama, where he played under Eagles offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland for two seasons (2011-12). Warmack started the final 40 games of his college career at left guard and was a unanimous first-team All-American selection as a senior in 2012.
