In a move not unexpected, the Eagles have cut bait with another starter.
The Philadelphia Eagles announced they released cornerback Cary Williams.
Originally a seventh-round draft choice of the Tennessee Titans in 2008, Williams started all 32 games during his Eagles tenure after signing with the team during the 2013 offseason. Williams notched 111 tackles, five interceptions and 25 passes defensed in his two seasons in Philadelphia.
