It was a bad weekend for the top three teams in the Footballstories Super 30 High School Football Teams presented by The Sports Authority.
• No. 1 Williamstown lost to No. 13 Timber Creek 25-18 in a battle of defending 2012 Group V and IV State Champs.
• St. Joe’s Prep ranked No. 9 last week topped No. 2 Archbishop Wood 31-21.
• No.3 Imhotep Charter suffered its first loss of the season losing to highly regarded Eastern Christian Academy from Elkton, MD, 36-28.
• Taking over the top spot in this week’s Super 30 is Garnet Valley, the Jaguars crushed No. 30 and previously undefeated Penncrest 47-7 in a key Central League showdown.
• Neshaminy moved up to No. 2 after its blowout win over a tough Council Rock North team, 42-20.
• The Prep moves up to No. 3 and Coatesville to No. 4 after edging Downingtown East 14-7.
• Timber Creek takes over the No. 6 spot while Williamstown drops to No. 7 but look out for Eastern who knocked off Timber Creek earlier in the season.
